The Growth of the Harmony Network

Since the launch of the Harmony to Ethereum Bridge, smart contract activity on Harmony has ballooned, with transactions booming from a cumulative amount of 230,643 when the bridge launched on October 19 to 1,580,021 on April 5, 2021, representing a 585% increase!

Equally impressive is the growth of new wallets on Harmony since the launch of the bridge. At launch of the bridge, we had 18,649 active wallet addresses (defined as a wallet with at least 1 ONE token in it). As of April 5, 2021 we have 55,163 active wallet addresses, representing 195% increase in wallet addresses!

About Sushi

As of today, Sushi has $4.55 Billion in liquidity over 921 trading pairs. Its daily volume is $237 million. Harmony is fortunate to have Sushi on its network. Going forward, we will work on deploying other Sushi products on Harmony to benefit all Harmony users.

 

How to Use Sushi on Harmony

Step 1: Add a Custom RPC Endpoint

In order to connect to the Harmony Network using Metamask, you will need to add a custom RPC endpoint.

In Metamask, click on the network and then select Custom RPC

Step 2: Add a Custom RPC Endpoint

Use the following information to complete the fields:

Network Name: Harmony Mainnet
New RPC URL: https://api.harmony.one
Chain ID: 1666600000
Currency Symbol: ONE
Block Explorer URL: https://explorer.harmony.one/#/Then Click "SAVE"

After you add the custom network, make sure you select it in the dropdown.

Step 3: Swapping Tokens

You can now swap between tokens by selecting the amount and clicking on swap. Metamask will prompt you to confirm the transaction and the trade will be executed and, with Harmony’s 2 second finality, the transaction will be settled before you can even blink.

Step 4: Adding Liquidity

Now you can add liquidity to Sushiswap on Harmony by selecting pool on the navbar. You can then either click on Add Liquidity or you can Create a Pair.
